This is one of my favourite designs in the entire store. It was created especially for my niece when she began her foray into witchcraft. It was specifically for her birthday party and designed as a stencil for making bleach spray t-shirts.
How to make a bleach spray t-shirt
You’ll need a plain t-shirt, a stencil, a spray bottle, some bleach, water and a bit of patience. It may be sensible to wear gloves and eye protection when spraying. Go careful and make sure only adults are handling the bleach to prevent any injuries.
- Add 1/3 water to bleach into a spray bottle.
- Place your t-shirt flat on a surface. It’s better to do this outdoors, but wherever you do it make sure to place down something to protect the area around the t-shirt from the bleach. Newspaper or plastic sheets work just fine.
- Line up your stencil on the t-shirt and begin to spray very lightly and gradually in thin layers. Leave it to dry between sprayings or the fabric will become too saturated and leach out, ruining your design. The longer you leave it the lighter the design will be.
